Rich Chessario

Rich Chessario, DPT, graduated with his Bachelors in Entrepreneurship and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Gannon University in Erie, PA. While going through school he also continued to operate his gym, Core Fitness, until graduating and moving in 2015. He has continuing education in the McKenzie approach of mechanical diagnosis and treatment as well as hands on techniques to facilitate better movement strategies. He believes that educating a patient is the key to them turning a course of Physical Therapy into a more active and healthy lifestyle. Dr. Chessario has extensive experience in biomechanical analysis and treatment to take the patient beyond feeling better and back to any recreational activities they enjoy armed with better knowledge and a more bulletproof body.

Inayat Kaur

Inayat holds a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and has a diverse background working as a wellness coach, exercise physiologist and as an orthopedic physical therapist. During her career, Inayat has helped hundreds of aircraft construction engineers at Boeing to recover from chronic injuries resulting from their strenuous work. Her patients love her willingness to listen and understand what they are going through with patience and empathy. Inayat works hard to make sure her patients understand the treatment she prescribes so they can team up with her on the path to their long-term wellness. Inayat specializes in analyzing subtle nuances about a patient’s posture, movements, day to day work and life patterns to help identify the underlying root cause triggering the symptoms and to come up with a recovery plan tailored to their needs. She has been treating pelvic pain from last one years and continues to develop her skills in treating pelvic floor dysfunctions. Her treatment is founded on core principles of functional science but often goes beyond and leverages novel techniques inspired from yoga, breathing patterns and muscle energy for long-term holistic well-being. Inayat grew up in India learning yoga and dance most of her childhood which continue to be her passions. When she is not working, she loves to spend quality time with her her family, hiking, cooking healthy and delicious meals and reading.

Charles Deneen

Charles Deneen, PT, DPT graduated with his Bachelors in Athletic Training and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA. During his time at Clarke University, Charles worked with multiple collegiate sports teams through athletic training for injury prevention sports performance and rehabilitation. In doing so, he gained a great deal of experience in treating a wider variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. He also competed on the basketball team as well as the track and field team. Charles enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend, playing basketball, and playing with his 2 Siberian Huskies.

Eric Rubio

Eric Rubio, DPT, joined Advantage PT. As a recent graduate of the University of Puget Sound Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2014, he brings a strong base of orthopedic and exercise interventions for the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction. In addition to the core curriculum, he spent 12 weeks in a full-time clinical internship with an advanced manual therapy group, which furthered his interest in manual therapy interventions. Outside interests include snowboarding in the winter, rec league softball in the spring, and camping in the summer. Eric is excited to join Advantage PT in providing skilled physical therapy to help our patients return to their favorite activities and improved quality of life.

Pina Mehta

Pina graduated from McGill University in Canada with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy, and then went on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Over the past 18 years, Pina has worked primarily in out-patient orthopedic settings treating both acute and chronic conditions due to repetitive strain and/or athletic injuries. She has significant experience and loves working with post-operative patients as well, helping them return to their previous level of activity. Pina’s annual continuing education courses allow her treatment approach to remain current and evidence-based to provide patients with the most effective treatment. Pina believes in empowering her patients to improve their own physical fitness through education on posture, bodymechanics and exercise. Pina has advanced manual therapy skills, is Astym certified and uses a postural restoration approach to help improve symmetry and muscle imbalances. Pina loves to hike and paddle board and is loving the thrill that learning to ski has brought her the past 2 years.

Nora Kovit

Nora Kovit, DPT, OCS earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a concentration in Orthopedics from Columbia University in NYC. Since graduation in 2008, she has worked in outpatient orthopedic settings, as well as home health. She obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2016, and has training in a variety of therapeutic treatments including myofascial release, strain/ counter strain, muscle energy techniques, Mulligan manual techniques, and the McKenzie method. She enjoys working with people of all abilities to help them reach their athletic potential, and uses an integrated treatment approach of targeted manual therapy and functional exercise to create a unique treatment plan specific to each person’s goals.  Nora moved to the area after falling in love with Seattle’s proximity to mountains and water, and she can be found spending her free time hiking, skiing, taking barre classes, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, and dog, Baker.

Sarah Hall

Sarah Hall, DPT, OCS, COMT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2006 and has been working in the Seattle-Tacoma Area ever since. She went on to earn an advanced certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in 2009 and obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2011. She has particular interests in treating pregnancy related and postpartum pain as well as athletes of all ages. She believes in treating the whole person and creating a personalized treatment plan to help her patients meet their specific goals. When not in the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, working out with Redmond’s FIT4MOM group and cooking.

Rachel Stoner

Rachel Stoner, MPT graduated from Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in Greek. She then moved to the Pacific Northwest where she sought her Masters in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Since graduation in 1998 she has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home health, geriatrics, and most recently a large outpatient sports clinic. Rachel has a passion for treating pre and post partum related injuries, athletes and sports related injuries, and all types of back pain. She also really enjoys working with post operative patients and rehabilitating them so they can perform their favorite activities. Rachel believes in empowering the patient with the knowledge to prevent future injury and improve posture and mechanics. Rachel’s personal interests include volunteering on the Physical Therapy Association of Washington Education Committee and in her children’s classrooms, hot yoga, running, and swimming.

Ann Johnson

Ann Johnson, MPT graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. She then received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University. Over the past 17 years, she has worked in health clubs and outpatient orthopedic settings with athletes from a variety of sports. Her continuing education includes kinesiotaping, myofascial release, and Mulligan manual therapy. She practices from an evidence based approach to provide the patient with the most effective and current treatment approaches. She believes in empowering the patient with education and exercises to take charge of their own health care. Personally she is a triathlete and skier and enjoys getting athlete’s back to their best.

Chris Tuohy

is an experienced and talented physical therapist and the Founder of Advantage PT and Sports Rehabilitation. He has over 25 years of experience in patient care and has continued his training with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004 and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2007. He has extensive training in advanced physical therapy, including manual therapy, functional exercise techniques, medically based exercise therapy, strain/counter strain, muscle energy techniques and many others. With a unique combination of clinical experience and extensive knowledge of current research and treatment techniques, Dr. Tuohy offers you one of the best, most comprehensive physical therapy experiences in the region.
